Difficulty: ModerateInstructionsThings You'll Need:
Standard 600+ watt amp
Standard sub (desired size)
Standard electrical wiring
Standard audio wiring
Soldering iron
Copper solder
Step 1Mount your amp in a desired location. Some good locations are under seats or in the glove box. Make sure that the amp is mounted solidly. Use bolts or zip-ties accordingly.

Step 2Mount your sub in a desired location. Some good locations include the trunk or under the seats (depending on the size of the sub). Mount using bolts or zip-ties. The more secure the sub is, the better it will sound.

Step 3Run heavy grade audio wiring from your stereo system to the amp. Be sure to keep the wiring hidden under carpeting or in the vehicle's roof. Next, connect the wire ends and metal leads on the stereo and the amp. Twist the wire ends and solder them.

Step 4Run standard audio wiring from the amp to the sub. Again, keep the wiring hidden under carpeting or in the vehicle's roof. Connect the ends once again.

Step 5Turn on your stereo system and test the sound of your speakers combined with the new amp and sub. Adjust the level settings on the stereo and on the amp as desired for optimum sound. Take plenty of time to get the sound as perfect as possible.

Tips & Warnings
Use a sharp knife rather than a wire crimper to strip wires. It works much better.Always use caution when working around live electrical ends.
